Giulietta Spider 750D 1495*02553, 1315*04353 (non-matching).  This car is available now on eBay out of Connecticut with a $17,500 Buy it Now.  It’s a long way from any semblance of nice or usable, but it’s a 1957 model and 56-57 Spiders seem to be more sought after than the later siblings, probably due to the idea of ‘event eligibility’.  Anyone have  a 1957 that got them into an event that a 1958 would not have?  Like everything else, I suspect it’s about who you know, and the magnitude of check you can write.
It’s amazing how the 7000 or so 750D Spiders ever made seem to have transformed into an endless supply of projects like this. Â Step one? Â A big can of Kroil. Â Step two? Â Get good with Excel.
Dash edging you see resting on the steering column is a hard to find piece – unless someone has started reproducing it in the last few months. Â I had a steering wheel place in Hesperia, Ca restore a wheel like this for about $300. Â Took several months, but was worth it. Â Block in passenger seat, engine in car = 2 engines?

This does not look pretty good. Â You will be weeks on your back undoing rusty nuts, with rust flecks in your eyes.
This engine was born to live in a Sprint 750B. Â There should be an engine with 1315*42### with it too.

The rocker looks tacked on. Â I’ve seen a lot of barely attached rockers over the years, covering a rusty mess no doubt. Â You kind of want some metal in there, you know, for structural support and all…

Has the head mounted, cam driven fuel pump, and the simple sheet metal oil pan was seen a few pictures ago, so it’s a 750 engine in there.

The engine is original, was welded and needs a weld at between 2 and 3 deck area. There is a 750 engine in the Alfa now. 4 speed tunnel box, has the bumpers, chrome trim, all gauges, gas tank, heater, wiring harness, side glass, extra 750 cylinder head, boxes of misc. parts. Some Bond-O on rocker panels.
Missing parts as follows; the side spears, the front windshield glass, both bottom seat frames, and the top frame. The exhaust stops at the cast iron headers.”
