Hi, hope someone can help me figuring this out… Today saw a heavily rusted blue alfa romeo on the side of a road, (have pictures to share if somebody want to see them). Stopped by and found the owner of the car, he was nice enough to chat few minutes about it, was able to write down the vin number and shoot some pics. Looking for information about this awesome car found this website, what amuse me is that the body number tells me one thing but the car seems different, hope someone can help me better understand what car it is and the estimated value in a pristine condition.
Body number is 1493-02514
Engine number is 1315-42319, (engine is not there)
Registration says Coupe, but the body is a spyder, I didnt saw any signs of a chopped roof and hope its not the case…
Registration date is 1.958, however the manufacturing date of the car could be before that
Thank you for anyone who can give me some light on this.
