Update 2/4/19:Â This car has turned up in Los Angeles without having had reconstructive surgery.

Update 8/27/18:  Has anyone seen this car in the last 8 years? Side grills have a Wallace and Gromit feel I didn’t notice before.
Update 7/1/10: This car was sold for $7100 after 21 bids were placed. Â Not such a bad deal for what appears to be a very complete, original and solid project car with a bad nose job to fix.
Giulietta Sprint 10102 22315. This car is on eBay right now out of New York or possibly Montreal. Â Other than some unfortunate modifications it’s a pretty original solid example. Â Would be kind of fun to leave the modifications and use it as is for a few years to upset concours judges and the like.
Kind of has a Facel Vega feel or maybe something garish from Ghia on a 1900 platform -but interpreted by a drunk from a small picture in the back of a magazine. Â That Bertone badge placement next to the passenger side headlamp is really horrible.
I have to assume that there was an accident and someone got clever with the repair. Â Looks great from the A pillar back.
Bertone badge back here is not good either, but the rest of the car looks great -I bet this paint could even be made to shine.
Very original. Â I wonder if they could be salvaged?
Hood scoops are just plain weird. Â Front end does look flattened from this angle.
Jeez, is this from a Chevy or what? Â Everything else looks okay except the peely dash cover.
The heater fan is odd -never seen a mod like that. Â Compression numbers, all from 130 – 140 means it should run reasonably well and they will probably come up a little with some use if it hasn’t run in a while.
I got a lot of emails about this one -unified by a sense of awe bordering on nausea, but if gotten for the $6K it is right now or a little more, this would be a good entry into Sprints and may actually make a decent rolling restoration -but I guess that depends if you could be seen with this front end on your Sprint.

I have to say that for the past couple of hours i have been hooked by the impressive articles on this site. Keep up the wonderful work.
Wonder what else has been done that isn’t visible. Notice the bus turn signal lever attached to the steering column. The front end damage on the right inner fender looks like it needs primer and paint. They can all be restored, it depends on the skill level of the owner or shop. The main question is the cost worth the effort?
Hi Matt when I saw this car I hadn’t looked at the front, the hood was up and I was around the back. This was 2 yrs ago but I did take a picture of the front with my tablet and I was in awe of finding a Sprint where I was buying an engine guard for my GTV. Last Saturday I found the pictures and everything clicked. So it lives in LA and I assume it’s still going. Hadn’t changed a lot but he did get to drive it the best part. Hope this helps a little I’d post a pic if I new how. Doug.
