Giulietta Spider 10103*09805. Â This car is on eBay right now with a Buy it Now of $89,500. Â It’s a nice one, and before I get into the gory details of incorrectness, I have to remind myself and you gentle reader, that it’s HARD to get a car to this point. Â It requires either a steady check writing hand (and a very skilled payee) or an attention span worthy of a Nobel prize.

This is either a really good shade of red, or the lighting is just right. Â Fantastic shut lines, very nice trim, slightly on the blue side of silver wheels, Cibie headlamps. Â A nice one.
One of those cloudy shit horn buttons making the rounds on eBay and then more of the usual nice.
Let me count the ways! Â Actually the longest list of incorrections I receive as a comment gets a prize. Â Really, for $89,500 this should be better, and it’s not bad, just not as good as it should be.
Paint work has a luster that is undeniable. Â Is the send unit cover supposed to be black? Â Honestly, I’m not sure. Â This trunk edging is fat and makes the lid stand a bit proud. Â I’m sure half a dozen of you are thinking about your struggle with it as you read this.
Yep.
It’s getting difficult to find these taillights in the US market flavor. Â
I feel like a jerk pointing out the overspray on the rear shock rubber seal, but it’s there -I guess it was a resto with an asterix.
Yes, no undersid epics, no vin pic, no engine number, no correct air box and, well pretty good in the opinion of those who have tried to make a car nicer than this and fallen short of this.

Still drooling, not sure why…
Because for all it’s detail issues, it’s a nice car!

No top?
I think there is one in some of the pictures.

Too much nit-picking here. I just wish mine would look half as good as this one does. It sure would cost me a heck of a lot more than $90K to get it even close. As a long term investment that one can enjoy at the same time, this one is a bargain
I said it was hard to get a car to this level. I think nit picking is in order when the money is this high. I agree, very nice.
Graham, I may be moving to your neighborhood early next year!

Late Giulia’s Spiders were the only cars fitted with a spring loaded top mechanism.
Thanks Lionel, didn’t know.

Where does one begin …?
painted fasteners and catch @ hood safety latch
no aluminum strip @ hood latch
ign. coil fitted with cover + red ignition wires from a later model
shrink tubing or sleeveing on wiring
non-original hose clamps on radiator hose
Weber carb & air filter
rubber hose from water pump is routed to .. intake manifold or ?? .. therefore: no heater !
hole in firewall for heater hose – no heater control valve
flat black painted cam cover
head is other than a 1300 Giulietta – 2 front tabs for cam cover bolts
alternator – plastic bladed fan
brake fluid reservoir is positioned high in clamp
oil pressure line has no clamp @ aluminum throttle linkage bearing block – line takes a short-cut in front of the brake reservoir
chipped paint on cable strap at the left front of engine compartment
Eagle eye George strikes again! I don’t know what I can send you as a prize, I suppose a T-shirt from the next run will do it -next run is soon for all those who have been asking.
Funny how despite this list I wouldn’t mind having this car at all, since a lot of these could be fixed in a matter of a few hours.
I have a 101 1300 head the new owner can have for cheap if it helps the cause…
