Giulietta Sprint 10105 1493*21131. \u00a0<\/strong>This car was recently sold through Fantasy Junction<\/a>. \u00a0Asking price was about $56,000. \u00a0I believe this is a car that was sold through Cars Dawydiak a few years ago, but I’ve seen a lot of these cars, so I may be mistaken. \u00a0Even though it has been sold, I thought I would do a quick write up since it’s a nice but non-original normale that has been hot-rodded and that sold for more than a few recently sold, nearly perfect restored 101 Normale’s I’ve seen. An interesting data point for those that care.<\/p>\n

Nicely painted, trim fits well, lowered, ready for action.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alfetta oil pan is the less expensive path to 1750\/2000 in a Giulietta chassis. \u00a0They do stick down a lot further than a 750\/101 Veloce pan though.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not necessarily beautiful or anything like that, but rust free and protected. \u00a0I see a Koni shock and Bendix copy fuel pump.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Repro build plate. \u00a0I have a picture of this car with the original. \u00a0I suppose you could get it. \u00a0The font is just never right on repro’s.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very nicely detailed engine compartment. \u00a0They even chromed the throttle linkage and firewall grommet holders.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I could get behind a remote filter. \u00a0Anyone know where I could get one of these?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Steering wheel is cool. \u00a0Pedal covres are not cool. \u00a0Gauge faces are yellowed, lots of extra equipment here.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The ‘suspenders and<\/em> belt’ approach to license plate illumination. \u00a0This is a later rear bumper.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Note absence of corner reflectors and ‘sprint’ script on trunk lid. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Giulietta Sprint 10105 1493*21131<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0 This car was available from Fantasy Junction briefly for $45,000, and in the time it took me to get my act together to write about it it moved to their sold section.<\/a>\u00a0 This car was for sale just over 3 years ago from Cars Dawydiak for about $40,000 and has been making the rounds at local shows<\/a> since.\u00a0 It’s a nice car with some non-original detailing and a lot of sensible functional modifications.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>They do look great with the suspension all set down like this.\u00a0 You have to admit that red is a pleaser on these.\u00a0 Paint on this car is as good as it looks.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Nice symmetry with the doors in the background.\u00a0 Almost looks like a toy this low.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I’m trying to decide if these wheels have been widened or if it’s just the comparison to these low profile tires that makes them look like they have been.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Busy busy with the red piping in here.<\/strong>\u00a0 Nothing hard to undo if it’s not your thing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Nice steering wheel.\u00a0 Odd pedal covers and interesting to see a sound system in a Sprint.\u00a0 I kind of like the tune the 1300 plays in mine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Funny to see a scissor jack back here.\u00a0 105\/115 jacks work on these cars and are inexpensive and look the part.\u00a0 What’s up with the battery?\u00a0 Note this also has both the late ‘in-bumper’ license plate lights and an ‘airplane’.\u00a0 Kind of a belt and suspenders approach to license plate illumination.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Good angle for these cars!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Highly polished engine is a 1600 with 1750 pistons installed.\u00a0 Note remote oil filter.\u00a0 I suspect it will be a while before the value added from matching numbers is more than the value added from 40+ hp over stock.\u00a0 Car also has a 5 speed, disk brakes, adjustable shocks and most likely an internally regulated alternator.<\/strong><\/p>\n
