You all might have noticed I have a blog.\u00a0 I write about Alfa Romeo Giulietta\/Giulia automobiles.\u00a0 I’ve been at it a while and I started the whole experiment because my particular Sprint -a humble, faded\/mismatched paint 1959 101 normale<\/em> of nearly the earliest variety, is just such a damn good car, so much so that my friend Moses called it magic at one point (31 mpg when driven as hard as possible?).\u00a0 Let me expound while I have your reviewing-the-last-sentence-for-continuity attention.\u00a0 Yesterday the sun shone for the first time in a few weeks here in xxxxx (insert usual descriptor that starts with ‘s’ here) California.\u00a0 Okay -yes, I pulled the cover off and drove my dusty Sprint for the first time in -er, well actually about 8 weeks.\u00a0 Was fun, down right inspirational and reminded me I need new tires.\u00a0 Another reason it’s so great?\u00a0 We have an understanding… I push the gas pedal and it goes.\u00a0 I push the brakes and it stops.\u00a0 I make odd circles with a handle on the door -about ten -and the window goes down etc.\u00a0 It gets dark and I pull a resistant knob on the dash and the lights come on.\u00a0 And the exhaust note…
\n\"\"<\/a>Did I mention how great this car is?\u00a0 Okay -sorry, I guess I did.\u00a0 Complaints?\u00a0 Nothing that’s not my fault!\u00a0 Anyone have a pair of US market clear turn signal lenses they want to give me for free?\u00a0 I thought not… Please?\u00a0 I’ll throw in some amber ones for free.

\nYT (Yours Truly) had a nice surprise upon receiving the latest issue of the fantastic if-you-don’t-get-it-but-read-my-blog-you’re-crazy Giuliettaletta.\u00a0 Why?\u00a0 In addition to the usual great articles about details I have never written about and tours I can’t afford to go on, Nick Savage, in their latest Giulietta values column (usually 2 pages actually) thanks me for the several hours a week a I spend trying to find cars for sale to write about.\u00a0 In other words -hey -I got press!
\n\"\"<\/a>Here it is, black and white.\u00a0 Nick -any time!<\/strong>
\nNick intrepidly draws some conclusions I usually allow the reader to draw, and that Aaron, a frequent commenter here (hint hint), and I discussed earlier this evening.\u00a0 What does a $150,000 beautiful, run-of-the-mill provenance-wise Giulietta SS sale do to the values of the Giulietta’s above and below it in the pecking order?\u00a0 I’m thinking SZ’s, Sprint Lightweights etc.\u00a0 I say we are in for a ride if nothing else.\u00a0 Will my hopes to own a Lightweight Sprint be dashed?\u00a0 Who knows.\u00a0 Just don’t get too worried if you already own one of these magnificent cars.
