Update 2\/12\/12:<\/strong> Elmar informs me this car has been relisted by Laurent<\/a> with a reduced asking price of \u20ac8,900.\u00a0 No less a crazy project!<\/p>\n

French build plate.\u00a0 Positive ID.\u00a0 Someone somewhere will decide this is worth fixing.\u00a0 Eventually.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Update 8\/18\/10:<\/strong> I am told this is Giulia SS 10121*380956, 00121*01092. <\/strong>That engine is now missing though.\u00a0 Also, it does come with a windshield and is in France.<\/p>\n

Original post 8\/8\/10<\/strong>: Thanks to an email from Elmar I can inform you all that this very rough Giulia SS<\/a> can be yours for the asking price of 11,900 Euro’s<\/a>.\u00a0 I’m going to guess someone pulled this out of a scrap yard that should have been its final resting place.\u00a0 I have seen worse in person and in pictures so I guess I shouldn’t dismiss it utterly.\u00a0 What’s a hundred hours of welding between friends anyway?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It’s on wheels at least.\u00a0 Note notched out nose and busted up headlights.\u00a0 I see a steering wheel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>A little welding will be required.\u00a0 At least the doors are present.\u00a0 I see a rear end too.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I haven’t seen a trunk lid or hood in the pictures.\u00a0 Side window trims are present on both sides.\u00a0 Doesn’t look too horrible from this angle.\u00a0 It’s crunchy with rust around the wheel well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Some goodies are present here.\u00a0 Original paint was maybe white?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It amazes me how many cars like this, that probably should have been crushed but for one reason or another weren’t, are coming out of the wood work.\u00a0 How expensive do good ones have to get before this is a $15,800 car?\u00a0 Very I suspect.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
