Giulietta Spider 750D\u00a01495*07104<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong>This car is listed on eBay <\/a>out of Troy Michigan, no doubt hoping to ride the coat tails of Market 206’s $45,400 result<\/a> for a nice red Giulietta Spider normale<\/em>.\u00a0 This car looks good in the pictures\u00a0but they are of somewhat low resolution and without the sellers name recognition of the 206 Spider, it is unlikely to be bid up quite as high. \u00a0I am pleased to finally be able to incorporate\u00a0something in the spirit of my\u00a0‘Pushing Product’ <\/a>series here.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This is called ‘selling the dream’.\u00a0 The red convertible, the hot chick, and a seemingly warm summer day.\u00a0 Not sure what the train signifies, but I’m sure I’ll think of something.\u00a0 Car sits just right and the panel gaps look good.\u00a0 Of course the first question in the Q&A section of the auction was regarding the possible inclusion of the girl -maybe in another arguably less civilized country…<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It looks good but it’s impossible to tell if it’s a $2000 5 footer spray over or a $20K + best of class type of paint job.\u00a0 Unfortunately you have to assume the worst or go look in person and hope you can tell the difference.\u00a0 Everything up front is shiney and fits well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Same goes for the rear.\u00a0 Well put together and attractive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Seat piping looks the right size.\u00a0 Steering wheel is cool, may even be the period correct accessory.\u00a0 Red carpet is the right shade in my opinion.\u00a0 Gauges are said to be metric.\u00a0 All in all, very nice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Note the color differences between the above picture and this one.\u00a0 Goes to show how little you can trust pictures.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Oil change stickers are a good sign but I don’t know that I would\u00a0leave them there.\u00a0 Not perfect under here but pretty good!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This looks like a home job vin plate.\u00a0 Alfa was pretty good at making these with shallow, precise stampings in the right places with all the required information by this point.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Very nice.\u00a0 No patches to be seen here which means there are none, or they were done very well.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If I was in the market for a nice, fuss free Spider to tool around in this summer I would consider this car.\u00a0 Some recent strong auction results for similar seeming cars no doubt have some people thinking the time has finally come where these highly regarded\/appreciated, but comparatively undervalued cars take their proper place.\u00a0 We’ll see.\u00a0<\/p>\n
