Update 6\/11\/10: <\/strong>Is anyone surprised that\u00a0this car had a\u00a0hard time selling for $34,000, sold for a chunk less and\u00a0now has turned up in Texas at DriveSource<\/a> for $32,500?\u00a0 I’m not.\u00a0 I stand by my assertion that you have\u00a0one (or if you are lucky two) chances to sell a car\u00a0for\u00a0a really good price and whether you wear the buying public out with multiple\u00a0ebay auctions or stand by a slightly unrealistic price for a few months, you create a\u00a0sense of undesireability or flaw\u00a0-deserved or not, that makes potential buyers think something must be wrong with the car if it hasn’t sold.\u00a0 DriverSource has put some effort into the car and it really looks great these days<\/a>, and I can say -having seen this car in person on the Lap of Marin not long ago, that it is a nice car, so maybe this car will find a happy home soon.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>This car has been polished to within an inch of its’ life.\u00a0 Cool!\u00a0 I still think the windshield wipers sit way too high on the\u00a0glass.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Original post 3\/5\/10: Giulia Spider 1600 10123*392337, 00112*15937.<\/strong>\u00a0 As usual Bring a Trailer <\/a>has the drop on a cool car\u00a0and have brought it to\u00a0market exclusive style, this time in the form of this very late Giulia Spider.\u00a0 It’s located in the San Francisco Bay Area and looks to be a pretty nice example.\u00a0 $34,000 must be spent to own it,\u00a0-top of the private seller market, \u00a0which means it must be test driven and inspected in person -rather the opposite of a chore.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Nice car in a nice setting.\u00a0 These late Spiders are solid reliable and fun, so where better to drive it than among the vines.\u00a0 Mirrors are a little more forward than usual.<\/strong>\"\"<\/a>Evocative shot among the old-world storage buildings of a winery.\u00a0 Trunk and door fit is perfect.\u00a0 This car in red works for me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Veloce intake set up is a nice addition to one of these normale<\/em> Spiders.\u00a0 This is above average for one of these cars -not much to improve if anything.\u00a0 These engines in Veloce spec. are very potent once you get used to where they make power.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Stereo and speakers are unfortunate, but\u00a0oh-well, it’s the product of a certain generation who couldn’t go ten minutes without blaring some Van Halen.\u00a0 Pretty original and\u00a0nice in here.\u00a0 Look at how clean the gauges and steering wheel are.\u00a0 You may see faded carpet, but I see original carpet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

You know you want it, so head over to BringaTrailer and make a play.\u00a0 These are fantastically usable -even by modern traffic standards, drop-dead gorgeous cars that, even in non-Veloce specification,\u00a0are fairly rare.\u00a0 Would make a great stylish daily driver for fair weather.\u00a0 Add a hard top (if you can find one) and drive it in the rain too.<\/p>\n
