2\/11\/2010: Giulietta Sprint 10102*22255<\/a>, 1315*011518. <\/strong>This car is for sale at Ghibli Auto Classiche <\/a>right now.\u00a0 At first glance I thought it was one of the projects I’ve written about in the last two years, but looking at the numbers it’s a new face in the story.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Neglect?\u00a0 Check.\u00a0 Missing parts?\u00a0 Check.\u00a0 Only for the optimist?\u00a0 Absolutely!\u00a0 Lots of neat stuff in the background.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Not sure where that rear wheel is from<\/strong>.\u00a0 Trim and all that is mostly present -no front bumper.<\/strong> Door shut lines are typically great.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Those look like Euro rear lights with faded amber tops.\u00a0 You can bet this thing needs most if not all of a new trunk floor.\u00a0 Bumper looks pretty good.\u00a0 I see a big Healey and a Giulia Spider.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Drivers door fit is also exemplary.<\/strong> Where did they pull this thing from?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>I think the engine is just set in here as a probably convenient way to move it around.\u00a0\u00a0 Lots missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Ah, that’s where the transmission got to…\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dash seems to have all of it’s buttons and switches.\u00a0 Floors are there but probably thin if not divine.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>It’s hard to tell where the dirt and grit ends and the rust begins.\u00a0 Fortunately the roof keeps this area a lot drier in Sprints than it does on a Spider.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ready for a kind hand, ready for a not too difficult parts hunt and mostly ready, pensively waiting, for a return to the road.\u00a0 Being already in Europe it has a slight leg up on it’s US based contemporaries, but I’m sure there is a premium attached just for that reason.\u00a0 Good excuse for an excursion to Umbria.<\/p>\n
