Update 9\/15\/09: <\/strong>24 bids resulted in a selling price of $15,100.\u00a0 This seems like a lot of money but is not surprising since this car has very little rust, is Mille Miglia elligible (1957 production or before) and runs as it is.\u00a0\u00a0 Well sold and\u00a0if Sprints finally follow a heirarchy similar to\u00a0356’s in their valuation breakdown based on age and speciffication, I suspect it will have been well bought.<\/p>\n

Giulietta Sprint 750B 1493*04813, 1315*04310.\u00a0 <\/strong>This car is on eBay right now<\/a>\u00a0out of Newport Beach from the same seller who has brought us a lot of decent Sprint projects and frankly, has set the standard for great presentation.\u00a0 I don’t know where the paint went, but its absence definitely allows for a warts and all view of the car and it looks very good.<\/p>\n

\"frontclose2\"<\/a>There is some lead in the nose, but it looks pretty straight.\u00a0 Headlight rings, grill and bumper fit well enough.\u00a0 One marker light is broken and the eyebrows are missing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"rightside\"<\/a>Suspension looks a little high.\u00a0 Door fit is good.\u00a0 Lots of lead around the windshield corner but that is how they made the body meet the windshield.\u00a0 They had a wooden frame that showed where the clearance had to be.\u00a0 Rockers look great.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"leftrear\"<\/a>MIB918 looks familiar.\u00a0 I think I have seen this car before but can’t place it.\u00a0 Trunk fits very well.\u00a0 Bumper needs chrome, but at least it is present, though it’s a later bumper with built in licence lights.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"rightrearunderndoor\"<\/a>Very dry car in evidence here.\u00a0 Almost as good as mine!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"rightfrontunder\"<\/a>Seller claims this is a common mod, putting the antennae under the car.\u00a0 I’ve never seen it before but it makes sense.\u00a0 I might even have to try it!\u00a0 Note dry sill on this side too.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"engineleft\"<\/a>Car has seen some color changes over the years.\u00a0 Tudor wash bottle is present which is rare.\u00a0 It runs, but I wonder how well and what its vitals (compression, clearances etc) are?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"dataplate\"<\/a>Numbers for the numbers folks.\u00a0 Bertone number is 654203, Vin is about 600 higher.\u00a0 Further evidence that they made about 600 lightweight Veloces by this time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"underhood\"<\/a>Curious repair.\u00a0 No evidence of anyone trying to shoehorn a V8 in it or anything.\u00a0 Maybe just a fix after someone shut the hood on a bowling ball that happened to be sitting on the valve cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"sillplates\"<\/a>Giulietta Sprint marked welcome mats.\u00a0 Nice.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"trunk\"<\/a>Freshly repaired trunk floor looks good.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"dashnseats\"<\/a>Black and white interior with a light blue car is a pretty good combo.\u00a0 $500 worth of Steering wheel required.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The word on the street is that lower end classic cars are off as much as 30% with the economy the way it is.\u00a0 Will this car buck the trend or surprise us with a strong result?\u00a0 In a few short days we’ll know the answer.<\/p>\n
