fees associated with the sale are included in this number.\u00a0\u00a0 This is $26,500 in our US money and about what I would have predicted had it been on eBay instead of at a live auction in England.\u00a0 Assuming the buyer inspected this car before bidding, I imagine the condition of the body was better than expected from a rust point of view.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giulia Sprint Speciale 10121*380459, 00121*00897.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bonhams.com\/cgi-bin\/public.sh\/pubweb\/publicSite.r?sContinent=EUR&amp;screen=lotdetailsNoFlash&amp;iSaleItemNo=4391102&amp;iSaleNo=17260&amp;iSaleSectionNo=3#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bonhams<\/a> will be auctioning off this Speciale on September 12th 2009 at their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beaulieu.co.uk\/beaulieu\/index\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beaulieu<\/a> National Motor Museum auction.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/bringatrailer.com\/2009\/08\/31\/speciale-project-1965-alfa-romeo-giulia-ss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bringatrailer<\/a> brought this car to my attention and their write up is right on.\u00a0 Pictures are limited, but even the best pictures tend to be misleading.\u00a0 If you are looking for a right hand drive SS, make the trip to the auction.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/untitled.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4718\" title=\"untitled\" suppose you could turn that slotch into a number meatball.\u00a0 Other than being dirty it seems to fit together well and being an Alfa, it could probably be put on the road without too much fuss as just about every part needed is available and not expensive.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/back.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" actually a lot of fun to receive a car in this condition and through careful nurturing bring it around to health and beauty.\u00a0 The rear end lacks only soap and water.\u00a0 Trunk and doors fit well, bright work is as it should be.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/engine.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4715\" title=\"engine\" src=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/engine.jpg?w=300&#038;resize=300%2C225\" alt=\"engine\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rufushamilton.com\/giuliettas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/engine.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w, \/><\/a><strong>Manifold, plenum and air box are all correct.\u00a0 Other than some missing inexpensive air ducting tyo the passenger compartment it looks good.\u00a0 These cars are valuable enough now that having a specialeist go through it wouldn&#8217;t be a bad idea.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/engine-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" \/><\/a><strong>Another angle.\u00a0 Not sure how the steering column is dealt with in a RHD SS.\u00a0 I imagine it has more U joints than the LHD version.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a if the dash is just a cut and section job?\u00a0 Tach is in the center, tri-gauge\u00a0on the left in LHD cars.\u00a0 I would stick with that layout or mirror it.\u00a0 This woudl all clean up very nicely and with minimal expense.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/09\/seats1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" cool font.\u00a0 Anyone know if it&#8217;s proprietary to Alfa of this period or a &#8216;regular&#8217; font book style?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I know, I haven&#8217;t mentioned the R word and this car is in the UK so R is a legitimate concern.\u00a0 Go see it in person and be prepared for the worst, rust is easy to hide and hard to fix well.\u00a0 Auction estimate is 8000 &#8211; 12000 puonds.\u00a0 About right in my eyes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.com\/2008\/06\/24\/market-27-austrian-giulia-ss-project\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Worse
