These Giulietta Sprints\u00a0are part of that group of cars <\/a>stashed away by the owner of a car dealership in Kaufdorf.\u00a0 The Swiss government has ordered the site cleaned up so the cars are being auctioned.\u00a0 These Sprints range from\u00a0massive projects to seemingly ‘ran when parked’ cars.\u00a0\u00a0The Europeans seem to enjoy a good challenge, so maybe\u00a0some if not all will be bought and put back on the road.\u00a0 I wouldn’t be surprised if they all go to one buyer, like Joop Stolze, for reasonable money.<\/p>\n

\"pa_06big11988\"<\/a>This guy lost part of his nose ot cancer a long time ago.\u00a0 Plenty of good parts here or ambitious project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_04big11988\"<\/a>Every one of these cars seems to have a caved in hood.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_03big11988\"<\/a>Trunk floor is hanging down.\u00a0 More good parts to be had here.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PA_01big12039\"<\/a>This poor guy has been buried in leaf-meal over the years.\u00a0 Looks like it might have been a decent car when they pushed it under this tree.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_04big12039\"<\/a>Another dented roof and hood.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_04big11464\"<\/a>This guy got the benefit of a roof over his head, but still mananged to get his hood dented in.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PA_01big11464\"<\/a>Yellow with a black racing stripe is kind of cool.\u00a0 This one could potentially scrub up and see the road without too much fuss.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_02big11464\"<\/a>Interior is even pretty good.\u00a0 Yellow with red carpet is unfortunate.\u00a0 Maybe it was Ronald McDonald’s staff car for a while.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_04big11607\"<\/a>Another Sprint lost in the trees.\u00a0 Hard to tell what condition it’s in other than dirty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PA_01big11607\"<\/a>Dented roof, rusty trunk corner and no rear window.\u00a0 Probably not an easy project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_01big11706\"<\/a>If it wasn’t for the typical roof and hood treatment this car might also be a fairly straight forward project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_03big11706\"<\/a>There must be a big cache of Giulietta wheels somewhere in this barn as a lot of these cars are missing rims!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"pa_06big11706\"<\/a>Engine is all wired and plumbed.\u00a0 Probably ran when it was sentanced to 30 years in the elements.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PA_01big11750\"<\/a>Wow, no dents in the hood, no dents in the roof.\u00a0 This one would be fun to take soap and water to.\u00a0\u00a0 I just realized none of these Sprints have front grills.\u00a0 Maybe they are all hung on a wall somewhere\u00a0in the barn?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\"pa_04big11750\"<\/a>Celestine \u00a0might be the best Sprint in the collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see these cars unearthed.\u00a0 There was a story in the Giuliettaletta that\u00a0quoted the owner\u00a0of this hoarde\u00a0saying he would not sell, would rather crush <\/strong>them.\u00a0 I guess the prospect of paying for the site clean up out of pocket made auctioning these cars off seem like a good idea.\u00a0 I’m happy to see a few Sprints that will probably be saved.\u00a0<\/p>\n
