Update 6\/10\/09: <\/strong>This car is back on eBay <\/a>from the same seller as the subject of Market 95<\/a>, and the same seller who listed it in May. It still looks like a good start for a Spider Veloce restoration. I wonder how much money is spent moving cars from small time dealer to small time dealer? I imagine when this car finally finds a home intesested in it as a project rather than a money maker, there will have been a $1500 ‘transport’ tax applied.<\/p>\n

Update 5\/14\/09: <\/strong>23 bids resulted in a sale price of $4010. Probably about right if the floors and sills are as rotten as stated.<\/p>\n

Update: <\/strong>Well, more of a please note, the absence of a Veloce engine complete with about $4000 worth of intake components etc is is a high hurdle to overcome where this car is concerned and as Veloces get more expensive, so will these components.<\/p>\n

Giulietta Spider Veloce 1495*05164.<\/strong> This car is available now on eBay<\/a> out of Stanton California, one of the little town between Long Beach and Orange in Southern California. It looks decent in the pictures but the description says it’s rusty in the sills but no pictures are presented of the rust so assume the worst.<\/p>\n

\"!BSGMIKQ!mk~$(KGrHgoH-DYEjlLl4)iEBKBdGzmB7w~~_1\"<\/a>Looks like a pretty good nose compared to the usual mess these cars end up in. Bumpers aren’t bad as cores and it’s even a good color under all the layers.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"!BSGMWn!BWk~$(KGrHgoH-C0EjlLlt+dzBKBdHk1jPQ~~_1\"<\/a>Not bad here either. Windshield units aren’t hard to get. If my Spider was a 750D I would consider buying this to shift parts onto.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"0570_1\"<\/a>Borrani steels are nice to have. Door shut line is very good. I think these are Lucas mirrors. These things look great without windshields!<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"!BSGMCH!CGk~$(KGrHgoH-CUEjlLlvS+VBKBdGeQL1Q~~_1\"<\/a>I wonder how much of the original gray lives under the red. Here again are the small Lucas tail lights. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\"!BSGMLY!!2k~$(KGrHgoH-CwEjlLl)G!HBKBdG+t,)g~~_1\"<\/a>The numbers. The “F” is usually just below that screw on the clamshell.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"!BSGMSr!!2k~$(KGrHgoH-DgEjlLl1CLoBKBdH(zgug~~_1\"<\/a>Good stuff in here. Note the Veloce fuel filter. Frame rails look solid.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"!BSGMO9wB2k~$(KGrHgoH-CUEjlLlvS+VBKBdHMpmMw~~_1\"<\/a>I see bits of trim and the dash looks pretty good. Floors don’t look horrible. I’ve seen a lot of these cars where there was nothing but the remains of the trans tunnel and the frame rails. If you buy this I have an extra horn ring.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I should be tempted by this since it needs about the same amount of work as mine and mine has a lot of the parts this needs, but I am in ‘getting rid of stuff’ mode right now.<\/p>\n
