Will its reign of terror end or will we be seeing it again on eBay?\u00a0 Time will tell.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Giulietta Sprint 750B 1493*04891 with 105 2 liter engine &#8216;<em>AbNormale<\/em>&#8216;.\u00a0 <\/strong>This car has been for sale since before I bought my first Sprint a couple of years ago and can presently be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/cgi.ebay.com\/ebaymotors\/ws\/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;category=5356&amp;viewitem=&amp;item=280267990869&amp;_trksid=p3907.m29\">eBay<\/a>.\u00a0 I featured this car and another by the same seller in <a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.com\/2008\/06\/23\/market-26-1-seller-2-bertone-sprints-a-750b-and-2600\/#more-534\">Market 26 <\/a>and it doesn&#8217;t look like much has changed with this car.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/bc08_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1270\" title=\"Giulietta Sprint 750B abnormale front\" src=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/bc08_1.jpeg?resize=400%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" have to admit this car photographs well.\u00a0 It&#8217;s straight, the trim is all present and it has a slightly agressive look to the way it sits.\u00a0 Smaller 6 inch headlights are neat feature of these early Sprints.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/be31_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" are my favorite tail lights for the Sprint series, though I like the all red American market lenses better.\u00a0 All the trim on the back looks good and the panel fit is great.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/c7cc_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1272\" title=\"Giulietta Sprint 750B interior\" src=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/c7cc_1.jpeg?resize=400%2C300\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rufushamilton.com\/giuliettas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/c7cc_1.jpeg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a><strong>While presentable and usable, the interior is all kinds of wrong.\u00a0 The patterning is similar to <a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/05\/fd00_3.jpg\">this<\/a> incorrect upholstery job from Market #10.\u00a0 I actually like this carpet.\u00a0 Look at the ovespray on the door strike.\u00a0 It&#8217;s little loose ends like this that detract a lot for me.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/c9cd_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1273\" title=\"giulietta \/><\/a><strong>70&#8217;s radio, 70&#8217;s Spider gear shift knob, I think that&#8217;s even a 70&#8217;s steering wheel (if anyone can identify it please leave a comment!).\u00a0 Gauges are not too terribly yellowed.\u00a0 Again, while presentable, there is a lot to do to make it correct.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not sure what&#8217;s up with the gearlever rubber, I think there is a piece missing.\u00a0 I wonder if it still has the 4 speed tunnel case trasmission.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/d11f_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a><strong>I&#8217;m amazed by how many Giulietta&#8217;s I&#8217;ve seen with black headliners.\u00a0 It doesn&#8217;t appeal to me, but it must have been the thing to do for a while.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/cf14_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full engine does not go gentle into that good engine compartment.\u00a0 I had a heck of a time getting the 1750 out of my Sprint.\u00a0 I like the engine steady bar, it runs to a rubber mount on the fender well.\u00a0 Carbs appear to lack any sort of air cleaner and to be mounted using the\u00a0sketchy Spica to Webers manifold conversion.\u00a0 Overflow bottle is 70&#8217;s Alfa.\u00a0 Breather routing into the fender well is common.\u00a0 Red steering column and throttle linkage tells you how careful the painter was in here.\u00a0 Despite all this\u00a0it must be a very fast car with that 2 liter!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/giuliettas.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/09\/c5df_1.jpeg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/rufushamilton.com\/giuliettas\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/c5df_1.jpeg?resize=300%2C225&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a>More incorrect and so-so paint prep in evidence back here.\u00a0 Trunk is supposed to be rough textured black in these cars.\u00a0 Presence of correct lid prop is surprising.\u00a0 Black rubber bungee battery hold down is not uncommon in these cars.\u00a0 Trunk mat looks like early 70&#8217;s GTV or Berlina.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">I like this car for about $15,000 &#8211; $18,000.\u00a0 With\u00a0some of the easier loose ends tied up it would be a lot more attractive, even at $20,000.\u00a0 I could see it fetching $28,000+ if it looked just like this but had\u00a0its correct 1300 with 4 speed, drum brakes and maybe a little closer to correct interior finish.\u00a0 I doubt the seller has backed down from their desire to get about $24,000 so I imagine it will go
