Giulia Sprint Speciale 10121*380136.<\/strong>\u00a0Richard over at ClassicAlfa<\/a>\u00a0(whose products I use quite frequently) sent me a link to this auction<\/a>. \u00a0The British Isles are detrimental to old cars if they are not ‘kept up’ and this one appears to have supported a blackberry hedge for a few decades before being picked up so it could be picked over for parts.<\/p>\n

999 out of 1000 of you look at this and assume it’s hopeless, and one of you thinks… I can get a $3000 Spider body as underbody donor, buy all Biondi’s applicable repair panels and have someone who knows their way around rust repair who has an\u00a0English\u00a0Wheel glue it all together then make some exterior panels. \u00a0Where are you then? \u00a0$30,000? \u00a0I know, I know -but I mean really, if $130,000 is the going rate for good but not necessarily great ones, this is potentially doable in a profitable way -especially if you have contacts in places where skilled labor is affordable. \u00a0\u00a0\"$T2eC16hHJIQE9qUHu0NkBRTIRmPRtQ~~60_32\"<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n

I know of a similar one I can buy for less than $8000 that includes suspension, seats, etc, but is, like this, very very rusty.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hang it on a Spider donor, get panels from Biondi. \u00a0It’ll be an uphill battle for sure, but would make a great documentary.<\/strong><\/p>\n
