3\/14\/12: Giulietta Spider 10103 170922<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Close to the polar opposite of yesterdays Spider Veloce is this crusty project on eBay right now<\/a> out of Florida.\u00a0 It has all the bases covered: rust, dents, missing parts and the need for optimism on the part of the new owner -that said, it’s a pretty good parts car.<\/p>\n

You can tell by the ride up front the engine is missing.\u00a0 If the rear was a little lower I’d say it was in the trunk.\u00a0 Note nose dent and rust in rocker.\u00a0 All in all though…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rear lower valence has seen some action.\u00a0 Bumper is bent and missing bits.\u00a0 This rocker doesn’t look too bad from this angle.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unlike the last Spider project I wrote about, this might actually have a trunk full of Giulietta parts.\u00a0 2 gas tanks?\u00a0 Box in the right has engine components.\u00a0 Something about the shape of the bag between the box and spare makes me think it’s a crank shaft.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Steering wheel looks whole.\u00a0 I see a genuine Giulietta Spider seat with tracks.\u00a0 Gauges look average.\u00a0 Lots to do.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now were talking, engine -check, radiator -check, grills -check.\u00a0 I wonder what happened to the old ‘spread it all out on a tarp’ approach to parts display?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sort of ‘as pulled’.\u00a0 Lots to clean and do, but not horrible.<\/strong><\/p>\n
