There are a lot of pictures like this -blurry race shots that evoke days gone by and racing fun.\u00a0 Fergats have a reputation for breaking under heavy use.\u00a0 I wonder if this guy suffered any breaks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

And here it is today -spiffed up and ready for fun.\u00a0 Those mirrors are interesting<\/strong> -they toe the line between retro-cool and too new.\u00a0 Looks good.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Passenger door shut line is slightly off -or maybe just ajar.\u00a0 Hood fits great though.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I could do this.\u00a0 Not totally original but purposeful and clean.\u00a0 Passenger door still looks a bit off.\u00a0 They probably took it on and off a few times dealing with the roll cage.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This is exactly how an SS trunk should look.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not much original in the upholstery up here, but it looks pretty good despite.\u00a0 All I would change is getting rid of the tan piping.\u00a0 Rear view mirror is a throw-back to its racing days. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Third car in a row with no cold air box or filter.\u00a0 Foam hood underlay is interesting.\u00a0 Not too bad as far as ex-racers goes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>I predicted we’d see more SS race cars retired and returned to the street not too long ago and here I have proof.\u00a0 I still haven’t figured out whether having been raced adds or detracts.\u00a0 I guess it depends on you, the buyer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
