Giulietta Sprint Speciale 10120*00158<\/a>, 00120*00518.<\/strong>\u00a0 Henrick sent me a note alerting me to this cars presence<\/a> on Anamera.\u00a0 It looks to be a pretty well maintained car, with an especially nice, mostly original looking interior.\u00a0 Asking price is a reasonable \u20ac38,000 -well, reasonable if the underside of the car looks as good as the rest!\u00a0 Always interesting to see a car surface that’s not on my register -I’m at 110 Giulietta Sprint Speciales on my register -that’s approaching 10% of production surviving.<\/p>\n

I like cars in a blue so dark it looks black.\u00a0 Paint looks good, trim and all is right for a nice driver.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Portuguese are proud folks with their big chrome ‘P’ emblems.\u00a0 More ‘lookin good’ back here.\u00a0 Bertone knew how to put\u00a0 a car together!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tail lights look like the crappy repro’s on the market right now.\u00a0 I have gotten perfect Carello repro’s made in the past -may do so again in the future.\u00a0 Unremarkable trunk.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Some polishing could be done -but I think the interior looks great.\u00a0 Blue carpet usually has blue edging.\u00a0 Nice clean gauge faces.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wash bottle is a later VDO unit.\u00a0 Interesting that it has a glove box door.\u00a0 Seats and the corner of the door panel look good.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No airbox?\u00a0 Correct intake manifold at least.\u00a0 Blue valve cover is annoying.\u00a0 Should at least be wrinkle finish.

Maybe they stamped the engine number on the early ones?\u00a0 The font isn’t correct here -They didn’t have the Serif at the bottom of the numbers on factory stampings.\u00a0 Numbers are plausible though.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I expect this will sell pretty quickly.\u00a0 There hasn’t been a runner driver SS in good shape for less than $50,000 in a while.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
